Buttons, Ribbons, and Headbands
I slept over at Kathleen's house the other day, and she whips out the title of this blog, saying she wants to create some cute funky headbands! :) So we went to work! What fun it was, I have not done anything like that in awhile and forgot how much I enjoy creating things. I love the finished product, and had the best model ever to display them! Here are some photos I captured of our creativity!

An old old blog I meant to do months ago
So I don't remember ever adding any actual sailing pictures but here are a few from our last trip in Denmark! This is the day after I had been sea sick, thankfully I was feeling better. Most people when sea sick end up losing everything in their stomach, but oh no not me! I leaned off the back of the boat crying my eyes out, yea it was also freezing and I was entirely wet, not a fun day!

Back in the U.S.A
Since I have been back home in the past three weeks, I have already been to Indiana, New York, and Atlanta! Wow, what a lot of driving. First off we went to Jake and Rachels wedding, can you say beautiful!! It was great catching up with old friends.
Second we took a lovely 16 hour drive over to upstate New York to visit my dads hometown, and stay with the Snyders( the dairy farm he worked on as a boy). Third we drove home for an over night stop in Augusta, before hitting the road to Atlanta for the fourth of July weekend! Fwheww... I am soo ready to just relax, but what I need to do is find a job! Welcome to America Shannon :)

London

Yes!! London was awesome :D I have many more pictures but of course can not fit them on here. I think the funniest moment in London was while running to catch a tube, Carrie thinking I am right behind her hops on as the door closes leaving me standing there trying to remember where we are going! She is yelling thru the window, can I hear her no... Oh well, I hopped on the next one and got off at the next stop to find her waiting for me, we had a good laugh! I was looking for a bathroom oneday, and walked into a book store looking, and this man looked at me and asked (with the most wonderful british accent) "is everything all right miss?"
Hopefully oneday I can go back for longer!

tunnels :)

Well, it would seem that I completly forgot to add these photos :) This was awhile back near Hamburg. We decided that we should build a really big hill with two tunnels going underneath it intersecting in the middle(yes i know, way cool!), also with a wall like thing around it! We were quite proud of our construction!

last one for awhile
Yes, so I have a gone a little blogging crazy this evening! But of course there is a reason for this. 1.) it has been ages since I have blogged so I need to catch up on some things 2.) tomorrow we are all going to Hamburg and Denmark for around 10 days for a vacation which involves some sailing 3.)I am in a good blogging mood right now 4.) I am supposed to be packing but am putting it off. So, I guess it is on to packing now.. blah I am such a last minute packer, but orderly :) Ohh.. I am tired now wishing to curl up under a pile of blankets ( I am a great lover of lots and lots of blankets) and pass out, oh well must pack! ciao baby's
Lord You are more precious than silver

Lord You are more precious than silver
Lord You are more costly than Gold
Lord you are more beautiful than diamonds
Nothing I desire compares to You
this is the song that Susy always wants when she is tired or hurt, I can't sing anything else or she will say no no no.. sing sing until I change back to this song. Dear child.. Of course having forgotten some of the words I sing it different than it should be sung. When Kathleen was here I realized, oh well mine sounds nice too. Well it is quite similar, but wrong :)
Lord You are more beautiful than diamonds
Lord You are more precious than gold
Lord You are the King above a thousand
And nothing I desire compares to You

exploring

I remember when I was a little kid and loving being in the grass.. Well I still love it just don't take the time like I used too to enjoy it! Being with kids all day helps me forget sometimes that I am supposed to be an "adult". I love watching how everything seems so fresh to them, they don't need tons of things entertaining them, they have imaginations that still work!
